The easy headline here would have been “get a Mac” (that’s what I used to say). I meet very few successful entrepreneurs, speakers or experts who don’t have one.
But it’s not for everyone. If you spent 25 years in front of a WinTel machine, and you’re still not using that optimally, switching may be a really bad idea. Instead, just upgrade and get the fastest thing you can afford. It will pay you back many times over.
You also need to consider what you do for a living. If you’re an author and know every keyboard shortcut on Word on your trusted PC, switching to another operating system would be sheer madness.
But if you’re the typical entrepreneurial leader of a startup or a small business you need the best tool money can buy. Enough said.
