As you walk down the street hold your head high. Look 50 – 100 m ahead of you, not down at your feet as you walk. As you train yourself to do this consistently you will notice your outlook on life shifts from the drama you experience in the moment to your long–term vision. And your world opens up.
I know, you may think this sounds a bit woo-woo. When I was told to do this the first time by Chris, my most awesome coach, I thought he was having a bit of a moment.
I soon realised it’s one of the smallest (and oddest) habit changes that has an absolutely profound effect on you. You need to try it for yourself.
However, it’s one of those habits that you can easily lose again, so remind yourself often until you have fully settled in the new habit. If you want to achieve really big things—lift your gaze!
