Getting your fans to carry your business forward

support your fansWhether you’re a lawyer and you solve a complex case, a doctor who really helps a patient or you’re selling widgets, you will get fans. Raving mad fans who absolutely LOVE what you do, what you stand for and who you are.

Give them something special. Give more of your time, call them at random, send them stuff. Because they WILL talk about you and if you help and support them, they can be your best ever sales force.

Particularly when you’re in the earlier stages of growing your business, you really need to look after your fans and benefactors. Doing so can be the easiest (and cheapest) way to get off the ground quickly.

Right now you might be thinking, “but I’m so busy even just running the business, how do I take special care of these people?”

First and foremost simply tell them about what is going on with the business. Upload videos, create blog posts, or post pictures from your day. Don’t worry about pretty, focus on now.

Then look around that circle of fans. Are there some of them that could help you run the business better?
