Some of us are super-productive when we’re on our own in a quiet room. Others only get stuff done when there’s a real buzz around them. You have to know what type you are so you can choose your structure accordingly. It’s a lot easier than trying to be somebody you’re not.
My lovely wife Ruby gets very little done unless she’s around people. I need quiet time on my own to be really productive.
If the thought of sitting on your own for 10 hours a day as you start your business sounds worse that a day in jail, then going solo is not for you. You need a partner, or a team right away.
Observe yourself or ask your friends if you’re not sure what you’re suited to. Make sure you design your business so that it suits you.
