Remember love

This is going to sound philosophical, but really there are two ways to live: wIth love, and without. And you can have love in everything. Your work, your business, your food, your exercise, as well as the traditional love for your partner, your family and your friends.

Why is love so important? Well, if you don’t love what you do, why are you doing it? You might as well go back to having a job. Half the people who have a job working for somebody else, hate it so your odds are pretty good.

Love is important because business is full of setbacks. Unexpected difficulties. Surprises. And more. So if you don’t have love on your side you’re likely to just give up and walk away.

If you don’t love what you do right now, imagine you come to a networking function or a dinner party. You explain to a stranger what you do and you say “I love what I do.” Ask yourself what you need to be doing to be able to say those words.

Now, go pursue that real dream of yours. With love.
